This position is located in the Department of Health & Human Services (HHS), Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), Office of Security, Facilities and Logistics Operations (OSFLO). As a Safety and Occupational Health Specialist, GS-0018-11/12, you will provide assistance to managers and employees on health and safety to enforce compliance of health and safety standards.
What You'll Do
- →Provide advice and technical assistance to managers and employees on health and safety issues within the workplace.
- →Provide input and data in support of annual OSHA mandated Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) Report.
- →Develop health and safety educational briefings establishing compliance policies to employees and managers.
- →Prepare reports and recommendations of work-related injuries and illnesses for all CMS Offices.
