About the Position: This position is located at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Bethesda, Maryland. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation
What You'll Do
- →Collaborate with the medical treatment facility's (MTF) risk management committee to plan, coordinate, implement, and evaluate the ongoing effectiveness of the risk management program.
- →Facilitate the hospital's patient care mission and quality patient care within the framework of established policy, standards of care, standards of practice, and regulatory requirements.
- →Review the overall effectiveness of the risk management program; serves as a standing member on numerous department and hospital level committees.
- →Manage the risk management database, analysis, and reporting of data.
- →Develop and maintains a database to record data accumulated relative to the risk management program incidents, locations of occurrences, providers involved, patients involved and treatment outcomes.
- →Participate in providing advice and assistance to the MTF clinical and non-clinical departments in identification and investigation of risk management issues, designing assessment methodologies and preparing appropriate reviews.
