*Please note, there is no pay associated with this position.* This position serves as a Without Compensation Research Biological Laboratory Technician within the Office of Research and Development (ORD). The VA Research Program strives to promote Veteran-centered care to improve patient experiences and outcomes across VA healthcare and community settings, and to advance value-driven care by providing Veterans the highest quality care at the lowest financial burden.
What You'll Do
- →Independently conducting experiments, data collection, analysis, and interpretation.
- →Implementing standard lab techniques, in protocol.
- →Optimizing and troubleshooting existing protocols through literature search and colleague communication.
- →Using animal tissues and cell culture in approved methods.
- →Training undergraduate students and collaborating with team members under Principal Investigator oversight.
- →Participating in statistical data analysis and communication of findings Preparation of abstracts, posters, and manuscripts.
- →Work Schedule: Full time; Monday - Friday; 8:00am- 4:30pm (Without compensation) Virtual: This is not a virtual position.

Requirements
