This position is located in the within the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), Food and Drug Administration (FDA), Office of the Commissioner (OC), Office of Policy, Legislation and International Affairs (OPLIA), Silver Spring, MD which provide strategic policy and legislative leadership, planning, and data-driven analysis for the Food and Drug Administration to more effectively and efficiently protect and promote the public health.
What You'll Do
- →Plans, coordinates, and manages all aspects of the rule making activities of the Food and Drug Administration (FDA).
- →Plans, administers and coordinates the development of effective, understandable, and enforceable regulations that meet the needs of the regulated industry.
- →Advises agency officials on the formulation of broad regulatory policy in area(s) of expertise, particularly as related to the development and issuance of regulations.
- →Prepares statements for the signature of senior management on issues concerning regulatory policy, regulation development and interpretation of existing regulations.
