The primary purpose of this position is to serve as a senior environmental professional for the Environmental Directorate, a directorate of the Air Force Civil Engineer Center (AFCEC), a Primary Subordinate Unit (PSU).
What You'll Do
- →Initiates, develops, sets specific objectives, and evaluates performances of AFCEC and installation environmental programs to ensure compliance with pertinent governmental policies, directives, instructions, applicable laws, agreements, and other criteria established by Congress.
- →Provides consultation and advisory services to leadership and customers.
- →Validates and approves environmental program evaluations for mission changes, unit realignments, reports, and correspondence submitted by higher headquarters, MAJCOMs, and installations.
- →Communicates critical issues to SAF/IE, HAF A7C, MAJCOM, RST/IST staff members, serviced installations, and superiors.
- →Provides direction to a team of environmental professionals.
