Marine Corps Community Services (MCCS) is looking for the best and brightest to join our Team! What You'll Do
- →Incumbent is assigned to one or more specialized recreational activities such as the following: Marina/Fishing Pier, Community Activities, ITT Office, Theater/Auditorium, Fitness/Athletics, Golf Course, Youth Activities, and Bowling Center.
- →Performs and/or assists in the operation of the recreation activity.
- →Based on established policies, incumbent carries out assigned phases of designated activity applying an understanding of the interest and needs of program participants.
- →Typical assignments may include: loading the hard drive, building the features, ingesting the key code and operating the digital projector; updating the marquees and movie poster cases and training new employees.
- →Demonstrates procedures common to the activities, and instructs in the use of related equipment.
- →Helps to plan and coordinate details of recreational activities and maintains related supplies.
- →Assists in planning, scheduling and publicizing various activities to attract and motivate participants.
- →May oversee sale of retail items associated with activities.
- →Assists with Unit Briefs.
- →May operate a cash register, receive payments and make change.
- →May be responsible for opening and closing the facility.
- →Ensures adherence to safety rules and regulations.
- →Assists in checking patron IDs and movie receipts.
- →Maintains patron relations and assists in maintaining routine reports and clerical duties, to include movie record-keeping as required.
