About the Role

This position is located at Hunter Pools, Hunter Army Airfield, GA. This is a Regular Full-Time position with a minimum work week of 40 hours and eligible for benefits. Incentives and Bonuses Incentives will not be paid.

What You'll Do

  • Assist with the operation of the pool, oversees the work of assigned lifeguards and monitors compliance with facility policies.
  • Assists with scheduling of employees.
  • Assists with the operation of the pool, its filtration system, water balance, pool chemistry and performs water tests.
  • Under direction of the pool supervisor, employ safety rules for the protection of the guest.
  • Responsible for life guarding guest in attendance at the assigned aquatic facility.
  • Rescues swimmers and administers first aid as required.
  • Attend aquatica and/or safety training as directed.
  • Responsible for assisting the conduct of aquatic swimming and water survival training according to APT 7-22.01 as of October 2020.
  • Ensures maintaining pool and area is clean and free from hazards.
  • Issues towels and checks identification as required.
  • Provides information to swimmers regarding safety rules and procedures.
  • Maintains daily logs and records as required.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
