These positions support assigned programs and functional areas to improve program and organizational outcomes. NASA may fill positions at any grade level and location listed in this announcement.
What You'll Do
- →Duties described below are at the highest grade advertised.
- →Duties assigned at lower grade levels will be of more limited scope, performed with less independence and limited complexity; duties will be commensurate with the grade of selected employee.
- →Leads and coordinates technical efforts within assigned programs or functional areas and provides technical guidance on complex program matters.
- →Conducts and supports advanced analysis, design, testing, and evaluation activities for complex systems and projects.
- →Applies independent judgment and technical knowledge to identify, analyze, and resolve complex programmatic issues and recommends appropriate solutions.
- →Provides technical advice and recommendations to program managers, project leads, and management on technical and programmatic matters.
- →Participates in technical forums, boards, reviews, and working groups and represents the organization on assigned technical matters.
- →Develops, coordinates, and recommends standards, technical guidance, requirements, and processes within assigned programs or functional areas.
- →Coordinates technical exchanges with contractors, partner organizations, and other stakeholders to address technical issues, requirements, and program objectives.
- →For supervisory positions, you will perform a full range of supervisory duties, which includes assigning and evaluating work; recommending personnel actions; taking disciplinary actions; and identifying training needs and developing employees.
Requirements
- ✓Basic Requirement: If you are using education completed in the United States to meet the qualification requirements, your degree must have been awarded from a college or university that is accredited by a recognized accrediting organization.

- ✓If you are using education completed in foreign colleges or universities to meet the qualification requirements, you must show that the education credentials have been evaluated by a private organization that specializes in interpretation of foreign education programs.
