The Psychometrist is a Psychology Technician is assigned to the Mental Health Service, Neuropsychology Service. The Psychometrist is responsible for collection, tabulation, and maintenance of a database of psychological and neuropsychological tests. The technician will administer psychological and neuropsychological tests to patients under supervision of a licensed psychologist at the W.G. (Bill) Salisbury VA Medical Center in Salisbury, NC.
What You'll Do
- →The psychometrist is a psychology technician assigned to the Mental Health Service Line in the Neuropsychology Service.
- →The psychometrist is responsible for collection, tabulation, scoring, scanning and storage of psychological and neuropsychological tests.
- →The technician will administer psychological and neuropsychological tests to patients under supervision of a licensed psychologist.
- →The psychometrist will train psychology interns how to administer psychological and neuropsychological tests as needed.
- →The psychometrist will complete other duties as assigned such as ordering test supplies, serving as a fund control point clerk, working directly with HIMS on document handling, maintaining the testing computers and submitting work orders as needed.
