The South Texas Veterans Health Care System (STVHCS) in San Antonio, TX is seeking a Psychiatrist, Deputy Chief of Mental Health Services. Recruitment (Sign-on Bonus)/Relocation Incentive May be authorized for highly qualified individual.
What You'll Do
- →The Deputy Chief of Mental Health Services is responsible for administrative and clinical responsibilities within Psychiatry Service that includes Program Management and Clinical Services Consistent with the incumbent's Training and expertise.
- →The incumbent serves as the Deputy Chief of Psychiatry Service.
- →As Deputy Chief, the incumbent is responsible for assisting the Chief of Psychiatry in managing and leading All South Texas Veteran Health Care System (STXVHCS) Psychiatry Operations.
- →Psychiatry Services, South Texas Veterans Health Care system in San Antonio, Texas.
- →VHA Physician Total Rewards.
Requirements
- ✓Citizenship; non-citizens may only be appointed when it is not possible to recruit qualified citizens in accordance with VA Policy.
- ✓All applicants tentatively selected for VA employment in a testing designated position are subject to urinalysis to screen for illegal drug use prior to appointment.
