About the Position: This is a Project Manager position with the USACE Omaha District. Incumbent will have independent responsibility of accomplishing programmed objectives and for obtaining results in accordance with governing laws, policies, directives, and regulations and acceptable engineering practices.
What You'll Do
- →The incumbent is responsible for managing the efficient and effective coordination and accomplishment of the planning, scoping, development, design, construction, and direction of civil works projects in the district.
- →Serves as the Project Manager, responsible for the overall management, control, coordination, and execution of assigned projects.
- →Controls and manages project milestones and budgets from planning through construction.
- →Uses various automation tools to collect, analyze, and display project information.
- →Represents the district, serving as the lead point of contact for projects assigned with sponsor/customer, Federal, state, and local government agencies, Congressional interests, other external organizations, and higher authorities.
