About the Role
This Program Support Assistant position is located within the Social Work Service (SWS) Line and functions as administrative/clerical support staff. This position is located at the VA Central Western Massachusetts medical center in Leeds, Ma.
What You'll Do
- →Duties include but are not limited to: Coordinates activities within the scope of the Service and provides administrative management support for the organization.
- →Supports the effectiveness of daily operations of SWS with effective writing and verbal communication skills and composing memos and letters.
- →Provides administrative clerical support regarding timekeeping, performance appraisals and employee files.
- →Gathers and reports various data and business processes to supervisors on a regular basis.
- →Conducts studies, monitors reports, and analyzes workload data using a wide range of methods and procedures.
- →Maintains administrative system to track implementation of all applicable policies and procedures for the Chief of SWS, SWS Managers and Supervisors.
- →Provides basis quantitative and qualitative analysis and evaluation concerning effectiveness of SWS programs in meeting established National and VISN goals, measures, and objectives.
