About the Role

This position is located in the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Veterans Health Administration (VHA), Mid-Atlantic Healthcare Network (VISN 6), Salisbury, NC Medical Center (MC). This position is assigned and located under the Office of the Chief, Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation Service (PM&RS), Salisbury VA Medical Center, Salisbury, NC.

What You'll Do

  • Major Duties Include, but not limited to the following: Provides administrative support to the Service Chief and Administrative Officer.
  • Serves as the surrogate for both equipment inventory list (EIL) tasks and as a Personal Identification Verification (PIV) sponsor.
  • Responsible for collecting and analyzing data from a variety of sources and providing information to the ACOS and Administrative Officer.
  • Manages clinic cancellations for the Service Chief's direct reports completing all related actions.
  • Responsible for tasks associated with consult tracking, appointment management, clinic profiles and scheduling.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Work Schedule: Mon-Fri, 8:00AM-4:30PM Telework: Ad-hoc, as determined by agency policy.
