Supports home care program operations by tracking compliance with standards, preparing reports, memorandums, and data tools, maintaining web-based reporting systems, advising staff and leadership on policies, procedures, contracts, and reporting requirements, supporting contract oversight through workload and cost analysis, monitoring correspondence and complaints, coordinating equipment and space needs, and resolving administrative issues independently.
What You'll Do
- →Acts as contacting officers' representative (COR) for any contract within H&CBC Programs.
- →Accurate statistics, cost-analysis, workload analyses, and monitoring are required for maintaining contracts and justifying renewals.
- →Will communicate clear and accurate information using written and verbal techniques and professional and courteous attitude.
- →Prepares program memorandums, collect, track and trend of compliance with all home care standards.
- →Develops tools to support collection of information for required reports.
- →Serves as the primary preparer to enter data and reporting requirements in web-based software.
- →Advises Chief Nurse & GEC Health System Specialist/Administrative Officer, H&CBC and Home Care Managers on VA policies and procedures regarding home care requirements including, assist in the development of home care contracts and administrative agreements for home care.
- →Develops and implements policies and procedures in accordance with the needs of the H&CBC by aligning them with the needs of the STVHCS.
- →Will monitor telephone calls, forward as appropriate, take messages, and answer program questions.
- →Will identify and address conflicting demands, work independently at times, and problem solving skills.
- →Provides assistance to H&CBC non-clinical staff to enhance their understanding of reporting requirements.
- →The incumbent will serve as back-up for time and attendance records for H&CBC employees in accordance with current directives.
- →Monitors correspondence to ensure proper format and respond to correspondence, congressional, White House, and patient complaints.
- →Inputs data using Word, Excel, Power Point, VISTA, and CPRS using proper format.
