About the Role
This position is located in the Office of the Under Secretary of War for Research & Engineering (OUSW(R&E)). The USW(R&E) serves as the Chief Technology Officer and is responsible for research, development, and prototyping activities within the Department of War (DoW).
What You'll Do
- →Leads and coordinates annual reviews of employment targets, workforce plans, and human capital benchmarks, ensuring alignment with organizational mission requirements and DoW strategic objectives.
- →Directs the development and implementation of innovative, data-driven solutions to complex workforce management challenges and prepares comprehensive decision documents, issue papers, and executive-level recommendations for senior leadership consideration.
- →Champions and ensures full organizational compliance with merit system principles and applicable anti-discrimination statutes.
