Joining the Secret Service, Office of Technical Operations, will allow you to support the acquisition management program by developing and overseeing policies, ensuring contract compliance, and conducting program reviews to advance protective and investigative operations objectives. What You'll Do
- →The selectee will serve as a Program Manager (Acquisition) in the Office of Technical Operations.
- →Typical work assignments include: Planning and overseeing all aspects of acquisition programs and projects.
- →Conducting periodic program reviews to assess cost, schedule, performance, and risk and compliance.
- →Advising managers on setting project goals and performance measures and ensuring required documents are accurate and submitted on time per agency policies.
- →Evaluating bids for contracts and participating in source selection teams as needed.
Requirements
- ✓Citizenship is required.
- ✓Males born after 12/31/1959 must be registered for Selective Service.
- ✓If selected for this position, you will be required to: Obtain and maintain a Top Secret Tier 5 clearance.

- ✓Submit a credit check after a conditional offer of employment has been accepted.

- ✓Obtain FAC-P/PM Mid-Level Certification or equivalent within 12 months of appointment to the position.
- ✓Possess FAC-COR Level 2 Certification or equivalent at time of appointment.
- ✓As a condition of employment for accepting this position, you may be required to serve a 1-year probationary period or 2-year trial period during which we will evaluate your fitness and whether your continued employment advances the public interest.
