The Dayton, Ohio VA Medical Center is looking for a Program Application Specialist that will support Surgical Services with a comprehensive knowledge of healthcare application support, clinical workflow processes, information security requirements, and program operations. Two (2) Page Resume Limit Applies for this Position.
What You'll Do
- →Duties include but are not limited to the following: Analyzes user roles and coordinates access consistent with information security policies.
- →Plans and validates system updates and enhancements impacting workflows.
- →Develops downtime and recovery procedures to ensure continuity of operations.
- →Conducts workflow analysis to identify inefficiencies and documentation gaps.
- →Investigates and resolves recurring system and workflow issues.
- →Develops and delivers training programs and user guidance materials.
- →Coordinates onboarding, system access, and training for new staff.
- →Prepares reports and recommendations for leadership on system performance.
- →Monitors corrective actions and evaluates outcomes.
- →Develops tracking tools and references materials for compliance and efficiency.
- →Supports audits, projects, and program analysis activities.
- →Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:30am to 4:00pm Virtual: This is not a virtual position.

Requirements
