This position serves as a Program Analyst for the Health Eligibility Center's Enrollment Standardization Office (ESO). This position is within the Community Veteran Engagement Team (CVET) on the Communications, Research, and Outreach Scheduling team. The Community Veteran Engagement Team (CVET) is responsible for the coordination of HEC/VHA Enrollment and Eligibility participation in outreach activities at the national and local levels.
What You'll Do
- →The Program Analyst provides oversight reports, guidance, and monitoring of VISN eligibility. and enrollment programs at all VA Medical Centers (VAMCs) and VA Clinics performing Veteran eligibility and enrollment outreach functions within the assigned VISN.
- →Advises, compiles, analyzes, and synthesizes VISN enrollment program performance data to identify strengths, weaknesses, and improvement opportunities.
- →Incumbent serves as Subject Matter Expert (SME) for all matters related to Veteran eligibility and enrollment and provides technical guidance to VAMC enrollment outreach staff.
- →Major duties include but are not limited to: Evaluates standardization in enrollment outreach across all VAMCs and monitors facility-level compliance of all associated VA directives, policies, and procedures.
- →Research and schedules VHA enrollment and eligibility outreach efforts nationwide and prepares all necessary administrative materials, correspondence, and justifications detailing reasons for decisions related to policy and program development.
- →Conducts nationwide follow-up evaluations of clients and detailed analysis to determine whether internal or external customers have received all appropriate services and provides additional services or referrals required.
- →Monitors national operating programs and activities supporting VHA enrollment and eligibility outreach efforts to include policy and procedures, data and reporting, research and scheduling, outreach delivery and special emphasis outreach efforts.
- →Tracks and reports on outreach data provided through VHA medical centers and partnership agreements.
- →Work Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, 8 hour shift between 8:00am - 4:30pm.
