About the Role

This GS-7 position is an intermediate level position leading to the full performance level of GS 9. The incumbent is required to satisfactorily complete both on-the-job training and related instructions from the immediate supervisor. In a developmental capacity, the incumbent will be responsible for performing the full range of duties that generally conform to those given in the GS-9 position description.

What You'll Do

  • Major duties and responsibilities include: Monitors and manages PACT team populations.
  • Manages Clinic Grids and Provider Profiles.
  • Establishes and manages processes for patient assignments based on clinical input.
  • Prepare reports, presentations and documentation for Management.
  • Participates in VISN and VACO activities as a representative of Primary Care Participates in local and VISN PACT committees and meetings.
  • Directs process improvement projects based on data analytics.
  • Develops, analyzes and advises on effectiveness of work methods and procedures.
  • Applies comparative analysis techniques to ensure the facility operates competitively with national, VISN and other facilities Challenges and validates data provided to ensure consistency and accuracy.
  • Communicates effectively with internal and external stakeholders/customers.
  • Works collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team within the facility, VISN and VACO.
  • Promotion Potential: The selectee may be promoted to the full performance level without further competition when all regulatory, qualification, and performance requirements are met.
  • Selection at a lower grade level does not guarantee promotion to the full performance level.
  • Work Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:30pm.
  • Work schedule subject to change based on agency need.
