About the Role

This position is located in the Office of Integrated Veteran Care (IVC), Integrated External Networks, QSV Assurance, Quality and Performance. The Integrated External Networks Office is a focal point within VA on Community Providers, with primary responsibility for data management and analytics functions.

What You'll Do

  • Major Duties: Monitor administrative activities and makes substantive recommendations for improvements.
  • Performs quality assurance activities for services, systems, and processes.
  • Monitors quality program implementation and indicators designed to eliminate ineffective practices.
  • Compare and evaluate program functions and recommend changes in guidelines, using program and measurement techniques to analyze compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Advise management on issues related to a broad range of program policies, processes, initiatives, and questions.
  • Interpret administrative policies, develops or implements local policies.
  • Research, evaluate, and report on recommended management decisions regarding workforce distribution and resource allocation.
  • Identifies legal and regulatory effects on program operations.
  • Independently develops action plans to address statutory, regulatory, policy, appellate, and legal issues.
  • Facilitate implementation of contracts providing care for Veteran/beneficiary use of community healthcare services.
  • Conduct management analysis and review of data, program requirements and correspondence requiring review and concurrence of the Director and/or other Agency management officials.
  • Formulates, presents, executes, and analyzes organizational program contract budgets.
  • Monitor budget allocation and execution to ensure operating program objectives are met.
  • Work Schedule: 8:00 am - 4:30 pm (Flexible) Telework: This position may be authorized for ad hoc telework.
