The primary purpose of the position is to serve as a Program Analyst supporting Primary Care Service by providing analytical, data management, and program support to improve access, patient flow, and the efficiency and effectiveness of primary care operations throughout VANCHCS.
What You'll Do
- →Duties include but are not limited to: The incumbent performs data collection, aggregation, trending, and analysis on identified operational and clinical issues affecting Primary Care Service.
- →The incumbent evaluates and compares models of primary care delivery within VANCHCS to determine feasibility, cost effectiveness, quality of care, accuracy of documentation, and effectiveness of established and new practices and programs.
- →The incumbent coordinates initiatives and implements strategies and actions related to process improvement, integrates input from multiple disciplines, and monitors and evaluates trends in facility reports (e.g., Access, Overdue EWL, Aging Consults, Incomplete Record Tracking (IRT)) to identify opportunities to improve primary care services.
- →The incumbent utilizes the Specialty Productivity - Access Report and Quadrant tool (SPARQ) and related reporting tools to maintain current productivity and staffing methodologies for medical service specialties embedded within Primary Care.
