The position is in the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Veterans Benefits Administration (VBA), within Loan Guaranty Service (LGY). In this capacity the incumbent serves as Program Analyst, Program Analysis, reports to the Chief, Program Analysis, and functions under the general administrative direction of the Assistant Director for Oversight, Loan Guaranty Service. The incumbent is responsible for the timely and accurate completion of assigned lender and servicer surveys.
What You'll Do
- →Specific duties include: Directs and supervises a centrally directed, nationwide assessment activity related to loans guaranteed by VA.
- →Analyzes Quality Review Team (GRT) data, and Full File Loan Reviews (FFLR) data to identify trends and develop risk-based lender assessments Draft timely and accurate reports.
- →Maintains liaison with other program oversight functions, especially GAO and OIG.
- →Make policy recommendations regarding these activities to the Assistant Director.
- →Promotion Potential: No promotion potential.
- →Full Performance Level (FPL) for this position is a GS-13 Work Schedule: Full time, Monday-Friday, 6:00am-6:00pm Compressed/Flexible: Available Telework: This position is eligible for situational (ad hoc) telework only.
- →The selectee is required to report to the official duty station each scheduled workday.
- →Telework may be approved only on a case-by-case basis with supervisory approval.
- →Routine or recurring telework is not authorized for this position.
- →Virtual: This is not a virtual position.
- →Position Description/PD#: Program Analyst; PD42170-A; GS-0343-13 Relocation/Recruitment Incentives: Authorized Relocation expenses and services (Permanent Change of Station - PCS) are authorized.
- →PCS covers the relocation of a household for government convenience when transferring between duty stations.
- →By accepting PCS, the selectee agrees to remain in Federal service for 12 months after the move.
- →Failure to complete the service period may require repayment of PCS expenses.
