This vacancy is for a GS-0343-7/9, PROGRAM ANALYST located in the Department of Homeland Security, U.S. Coast Guard, SFLC WSD WORKFORCE MANAGEMENT BR -SFLC-WSD-WMB in Glen Burnie, MD.
What You'll Do
- →You will serve as a developmental Program Analyst, GS-0343-07 and be responsible for performing analytical and evaluative assignments related to workforce management, organizational effectiveness, and administrative programs.
- →Being a Coast Guard civilian makes you a valuable member of the Coast Guard team.
- →Typical work assignments at the GS-07 grade level includes: Advises management on workforce management, organizational effectiveness, and routine personnel/program issues.
- →Develops, analyzes, and evaluates administrative programs and program effectiveness.
- →Collects, reviews, and interprets data; prepares findings, reports, briefings, and recommendations.
- →Organizes and supports program activities, projects, milestones, and quality requirement.
- →Researches and applies federal laws, regulations, policies, and procedures to program issues.
- →Coordinates with workforce teams to identify organizational and manpower needs and assists with resource documentation.
- →You will serve as a Program Analyst, GS-0343-09 and be responsible for analyzing and evaluating workforce management, organizational effectiveness, and administrative programs.
- →Typical work assignments at the GS-09 grade level includes: Advises management on workforce management, organizational effectiveness, strategic initiatives, and complex personnel or program issues.
- →Develops, oversees, analyses, and evaluates administrative programs to determine effectiveness and achievement of organizational goals.
- →Collects, evaluates, and interprets quantitative and qualitative data and presents findings, recommendations, briefings, and reports.
- →Plans and conducts management studies, research, fact-finding, and projects to identify problems and recommend alternative solutions.
- →Coordinates with diverse workforce teams to assess organizational development, manpower, and resource requirements.
