About the Position: This is a Program Analyst position, GS-0343-09 Target Grade 11 with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, New England District. This position is located in West Point, NY Position will be filled at the GS-9 grade level with promotion potential to the higher-grade GS-11.
What You'll Do
- →Gather program and budget data to identify deficiencies in operations.
- →Analyze trends in program or project status to determine potential issues.
- →Develop recommendations for program modifications based on data analysis.
- →Track obligations and expenditures to ensure compliance with established procedures.
- →Verify that financial transactions occur in a timely manner according to schedules.
- →Compile and summarize financial data for budget reports.
- →Communicate with project engineers or technicians to obtain required data.
- →Clarify information with contractors or business partners to satisfy reporting requirements.
- →Present analyses in graphic or narrative form for program evaluation.
- →Coordinate with organizational elements to formulate current and future year programs and budgets.
