THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 5 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION. This National Guard position is for a PROGRAM ANALYST (T5), Position Description Number T5615P01 and is part of the AL USPFO, National Guard. ORGANIZATION: AL USPFO, MONTGOMERY, AL SELECTING OFFICIAL: MS. T. FULLENWILDER **THIS POSITION IS OPEN TO CURRENT USPFO T5 ARMY EMPLOYEES ONLY**
What You'll Do
- →Develops sampling plans and procedures for validating unit/activity accountability and inventory certifications.
- →Independently evaluates the effectiveness of substantive unit programs and processes in meeting their established goals and objectives.
- →Analyzes evaluation results on both a quantitative and qualitative basis to provide concise and objective information to identify accountability strengths and weaknesses.
- →Develops recommendations to correct deficiencies or suggest program or process improvements for the organization.
- →Plans and designs procedures to improve organizational effectiveness and efficiency.
- →Evaluates unit and organizational effectiveness.
- →Develops and administers a system of reviews, management controls, evaluations, and checklists designed to ensure conformance with law and regulations.
- →The employee plans, coordinates, and carries out the successive steps in fact-finding and analysis of issues necessary to complete each phase of assigned projects.
- →Using standardized and locally developed evaluation programs and processes, management principles, organizational theory, and techniques of analysis and evaluation, plans and accomplishes scheduled evaluations.
- →Analytical methods contained in applicable regulations and guidelines are not always applicable to specific work; Incumbent adapts methods to meet needs of the specific situation.
- →Collectively evaluates management effectiveness of property management functions and informing management of their programs.
- →Coordinates and/or conducts management studies of organization, staffing, work measurement, methods, or procedures.
- →Incumbent reviews administrative audits, Financial Liability Investigation for Property Loss (FLIPL) reports, and Command Supply Discipline Program (CSDP) review reports to determine accountability trends to develop scope of review and recommendations to improve accountability processes and corrective actions. 30% 2.
- →Applies statistical analysis techniques to measure progress, efficiency, and trends impacting the effectiveness of the organization to meet the organizational goals and objectives.
Requirements
- ✓SUBSTITUTION OF EDUCATION FOR SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.B. or J.D., if related You must provide transcripts or other documentation to support your Educational claims.
- ✓To receive credit for Education, you must provide documentation of proof that you meet the Education requirements for this position.
