THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 32 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION. This National Guard position is for a PROGRAM ANALYST (T32), Position Description Number D0712000 and is part of the AL SAAO, National Guard. ORGANIZATION: JFHQ/SAOH, MONTGOMERY, AL SELECTING OFFICIAL: COL D. CRENSHAW
What You'll Do
- →(1) Analyzes funding for Flying Hour Program (FHP), Counter-Narcotics Program (CNOPS) and Additional Flight Training Periods (AFTPs) to aid effectiveness and to identify deficient areas or trends.
- →Independently or as assigned undertakes projects which involve surveys, comparisons and studies of current and past operations.
- →Normally defines requirements and extent of study, methods and sources used, and manner of presentation.
- →Determines the significance of the computed statistics, interprets results and states conclusions developed.
- →(2) Reviews, evaluates and analyzes obligations and expenditures.
- →Prepares aviation summaries from reports submitted by subordinate AASFs (Army Aviation Support Facilities).
- →Summarizes and interprets significant data collected and relates this data to aviation plans, standards and actions; identifies and analyzes deficiencies in resource consumption, training, workload and scheduling, and evaluates deviations from standards, plans and estimates to determine cause and impact on aviation mission.
- →(3) Assists SAAO in interpretation and utilization of reports and information provided.
- →Develops various visual media to present trends, performance status, capability and related management information.
- →Aids functional areas in identifying areas of record documentation and procedures which can be streamlined, combined or improved and initiates methods to operate under the new or revised system.
- →Implements the ARNG Internal Controls Program.
- →(4) Advises management when manpower authorizations, based on analytical and statistical studies, appear unbalanced.
- →Identifies and validates the manning required to support the mission assigned the organization by the use of various forecasting and statistical techniques.
- →Evaluates changes in the aviation operation plan for programs that will affect the FHP and training capability forecast.
Requirements
- ✓SUBSTITUTION OF EDUCATION FOR SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.B. or J.D., if related You must provide transcripts or other documentation to support your Educational claims.
- ✓To receive credit for Education, you must provide documentation of proof that you meet the Education requirements for this position.
