What You'll Do
- →You will serve on Nuclear Weapons Surety (NWS) project integrated product teams and ensure NWS requirements are identified, presented, and delivered across all NWS project organizations.
- →You will lead the Nuclear Weapons Technical Inspection (NWTI) program and manage all administrative functions, technical processes, coordination of all ashore NWTIs, and collaborate with N00NWA for oversight of all Navy NWTIs.
- →You will identify NWTI requirements and execute SSP HQ plans to inspect strategic weapons facilities (SWFs) for the purpose of recertification of current NW mission objectives and in the certification of new NW capabilities.
- →You will correspond with senior leadership and executive staff on all NWTI program areas and collaborate with Department of War, Joint Staff, US Air Force, US Strategic Command, and Defense Threat Reduction Agency in the development of NWTI policy.
- →You will attend the Navy and Defense Threat Reduction Agency Nuclear Weapons Technical Inspection (NWTI) courses.
- →You will become qualified and certified as an NWTI inspector within two years.
