About the Role

The Annual Proficiency Review (APR) Program is responsible for ensuring that all individuals assigned security screening duties at TSA continue to meet the qualifications, standards, and performance expectations required by the Aviation and Transportation Security Act (ATSA). The APR Program oversees the development, maintenance, and implementation of tools, documentation, and processes that support the annual assessment of screening personnel.

What You'll Do

  • This Program Analyst (Performance Management) position is located Human Capital Policy and Programs, Performance and Assessments Division, Transportation Security Administration, Department of Homeland Security (DHS).
  • Duties include but are not limited to: Maintains and updates APR scoring tools: Ensures scoring tools contain current information, facilitates accurate data transfer to the Learning Management System (LMS) and implements updates reflecting the latest Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Provides technical and customer support: Assists customers in troubleshooting APR scoring tool issues, responds to inquiries, and delivers guidance to ensure compliance with Annual Proficiency Review standards.
  • Updates APR documentation and coordinates with stakeholders: Reviews, revises, and updates APR documents and demonstration materials to align with current SOP verbiage and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborates with stakeholders to vet materials, ensuring accuracy, relevance, and compliance across all APR resources.
  • Supports continuous improvement of APR processes: Identifies opportunities to enhance the APR process, recommends solutions, and collaborates with stakeholders to implement improvements for greater efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Manages APR-related SharePoint sites: Maintains SharePoint resources for APR, ensuring information is organized, accessible, and current for internal and external stakeholders.
  • NOTE: Duty Location can be negotiated depending on availability of space at airport locations.

Requirements

  • You must possess U.S.
  • Citizenship or be a U.S.
  • You must have reached the minimum age (18) at the time of application.
  • You must complete a favorable Background Investigation (BI).
  • Selective Service registration is required.
  • You must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance.
