About the Role
This position is located in the Office of the Under Secretary of Defense for Acquisition & Sustainment (OUSD(A&S)). OUSD for Acquisition & Sustainment is responsible for policy, assessment and oversight for the cybersecurity of DoW's facility related controls systems.

- →Incumbents typical work assignments may include the following: Directs the development, collection of data, and in-depth analysis on Department of War (DoW) facility, infrastructure, and cyber requirements and resources, including foreign government cash funded and in-kind construction.
- →Initiates programs, actions, and tasks to develop policies and procedures governing the cybersecurity of military infrastructure, facilities, facility and building control systems, and the secure operations of industrial control systems.
- →Evaluates the impact of guidance and policies on existing conditions, procedures, and actions, analyzes program development, and makes recommendations for programming policy.
- →Develops justifications to convince senior officials, Congress, and the public of the need to meet requirements at defense installations and improve their management.
- →Fosters competition and creative thinking across Military Departments and Defense Agencies to provide excellent installations that support readiness and quality of life, including cyber-resilient infrastructure and modernized control systems.
