This position is part of the Department of Defense . The incumbent will be responsible for: Advising leadership on all matters related to program cost, schedule, and performance across the Missile Defense System to provide comprehensive situational awareness
What You'll Do
- →As a Program Analyst at the NH-0343-4 some of your typical work assignments may include: Lead, develop, and brief MDA leadership on improvements in operating concepts and criteria that will stimulate the development of improved policies, methodologies, and techniques across the MDS.
- →Review, compare, and brief current program developments against approved plans and baselines to identify potential and actual problems, executed baseline remedial and preventative actions, and report findings and recommendations to MDA senior leadership.
- →Analyze and brief senior leadership on cost, schedule, and technical assessments of acquisition programs to ensure they are capabilities driven, employ spiral development processes, integrated, and deliver expected performance within cost and schedule, at reasonable risk.
- →Responsible for the reviews and analysis of program and functional schedules to facilitate the integration and synchronization of program levels and MDS system level baselines to support the MDA phased incremental development approach and ensure delivery of capabilities to the Warfighter.
- →Works closely and collaboratively with Functional and Program Manager Staffs on a daily basis to identify schedule process improvement opportunities, and to assist with affecting such process improvements.

- ★This position is subject to an initial drug screening, and random testing thereafter.

- ★The selectee's inability successfully pass; or refusal to conduct the test may result in: 1) the tentative or FJO being withdrawn during the recruitment process; or 2) subsequently being removed from Federal service for failure to meet a condition of employment.
- ★You may be required to sign a "Drug Test Statement of Understanding" if you are selected for this position.
