About the Role
The detailee for this position will serve as a PROGRAM ANALYST in the Production Resources Department, (Code 099). This position will serve in a bridge program designed to give employees an opportunity to gain competencies necessary to qualify for a GS-0343 position. If selected, you will be placed in the position Not to Exceed One Year.
What You'll Do
- →You will review various environmental program rules and regulations and interfaces with Environmental Program Managers to gain clarification on interpretation and requirements impacting operations or production personnel.
- →You will participate in discussions regarding new processes prior to implementation.
- →You will conduct oversight surveillances, operational compliance sweeps, and emphasis patrols to verify compliance with regulations.
- →You will provide metrics to conduct trend analysis using computer programs such as Microsoft Access, Excel, and Power Point.
- →You will develop long range plans to ensure training resources are available to meet program requirements.
- →You will, under close supervision, perform periodic oversight inspections on trades operations to ensure compliance with applicable Federal, State, Department of Navy, and local rules and instructions.
- →You will document findings in databases and issues surveillance findings to involved personnel and management including Superintendents, Nuclear and Non- Nuclear Directors.
- →You will serve as a departmental point of contact for matters concerning environmental compliance.
