The Program Analyst supports the Wildlife Services Aviation Safety Center by coordinating and managing national aviation safety, training, reporting, and data management systems essential to APHIS aviation operations. The role conducts comprehensive analysis of aviation program data, develops specialized reports, and provides administrative, personnel and procurement support to ensure program effectiveness, regulatory compliance, and operational safety.
What You'll Do
- →The duties described are for the full-performance level.
- →At developmental grade levels, assignments will be of more limited scope, performed with less independence and limited complexity.
- →The duties may include, but are not limited to: Provides program coordination and management assistance in the application of national aviation safety programs.
- →Collects, analyzes, and manages data maintained in the national statistical databases for aviation operations and safety programs.
- →Maintains information, documents, reports and records on all Wildlife Services aviation accidents, incidents, hazards and safety issues.
- →Monitors the input of the Wildlife Services accident/incident reports.
- →Provide administrative and procurement support, including document preparation, time-sheet and travel related assistance and requisition entry.
- →Prepare and coordinate travel arrangements, personnel documents, training logistics, meetings, and other administrative processes for ASC staff.
- →Responsible for aircraft fleet management by tracking usage, mileage, and maintenance requirements Maintain ASC records management systems, correspondence processes, and technical documents, ensuring compliance with APHIS standards
