You will serve as a PRODUCTION SPECIALIST (SHIPS) in the Waterfront Operations/Productions Division of NAVAL SHIP REPAIR FACILITY . ***ACCESS TO MEDICAL AND DENTAL CARE IN JAPAN IS EXTREMELY LIMITED. Please see Additional Information section below.***
What You'll Do
- →You will be responsible for the effective and efficient management of complex Chief of Naval Operations (CNO) scheduled availabilities, continuous maintenance and emergent work.
- →You will serve as the principal advance-planning manager for activities executing work assigned for U.S.
- →Naval Ship Repair Facility and Japan Regional Maintenance Center (SRF-JRMC).
- →You will be responsible for the planning phase of all repair, alteration and modernization work assigned to SRF-JRMC on Landing Helicopter Dock (LHD) ships during availabilities and participate as a core member of a ship's maintenance team.
- →You will coordinate, schedule, and assure administration of SRF-JRMC repair and modernization work on projects.
- →You will be responsible for the coordination and direction of all aspects of an assigned CNO availability.
- →You will coordinate, oversee, and direct the contractor and other Government agencies during the advanced planning functions for Extended Selected Restricted Availabilities, Continuous Maintenance, and Emergent Maintenance work.
- →You will provide input for funding requirements and serve as the maintenance team's funds manager for funds from all sources.
- →You will determine the course of action necessary to accomplish assigned projects with the overall view of creating new standards and objectives to be met on similar projects within the requirements of the overall mission.
