What You'll Do
- →Lead in developing and recommending acquisition/business policies and procedures for implementation throughout DISA.
- →Serves as the functional Procurement Management Reviews Lead, responsible for leading individual PMR Teams to conduct cradle to grave PMRs of DISA procurement activities and offices to ascertain compliance with Federal acquisition laws.
- →Advises and assists DISA senior acquisition personnel and policy managers, business financial managers, division chiefs, contracting officers, and other acquisition personnel.
- →Plans, directs, formulates, and follows up on all procurement management and administration policies, programs and objectives, including management of contract audit follow-ups.
- →Serves as the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) functional program manager responsible for the overall DISA COR program to include the functional representative for the DoD COR Tool, tracking CORs, and managing COR training.
Requirements
- ✓Basic Education Standards for positions in the 1102 series: A.
- ✓Bachelor's degree from an accredited education institution authorized to grant baccalaureate degrees.
- ✓All applicants must provide a copy of transcripts at the time of application.
- ✓Failure to provide this information will result in disqualification.
- ✓Education Exemptions: The education requirements listed above apply only to individuals entering DoD 1102 positions on or after October 1, 2000.
- ✓Current DoD employees or Armed Forces members, who occupied GS-1102 positions or contracting positions with authority to award or administer contracts above the simplified acquisition threshold in an Executive Department on or before September 30, 2000, are exempt from meeting this requirement.
- ✓Failure to provide SF-50 or career brief (for Armed Forces members) dated prior to October 1, 2000 will result in disqualification (this includes DISA employees).
- ✓To be creditable, education must have been obtained in an accredited college or university.
- ✓You must report only attendance and/or degrees from schools accredited by accrediting institutions that are recognized by the U.S.
- ✓Department of Education Foreign Education: If you are using education completed in foreign colleges or universities to meet the qualification requirements, you must show that the education credentials have been evaluated by the National Association of Credential Evaluation Services at the time of application.
