About the Role
About the Position: This position is that of an analyst for the Procurement Department's Compliance branch located at the Mark Center Building in Alexandria, VA. The Mark Center is the new location for the Washington Headquarters Services of the United States Department of Defense and a number of other DoD agencies.
What You'll Do
- →Identify, develop, write and deliver all required internal training specific to the needs of the DoWEA procurement and requirements workforce.
- →Maintain technical proficiency by keeping current with FAR, DFARS, and DPCAP regulations and policies.
- →Utilize contract writing systems.
- →Perform contract file reviews.
- →Provide expertise and interpretive guidance for all procurement operations.
- →Develop and update appropriate procurement policies.
- →Analyze and interpret relevant data to identify trends, best practices, and opportunities for improvement.
