What You'll Do
- →As a PRIMARY PREVENTION SPECIALIST (PREV WF), GS-0101-11 you will: This position is located at the ANG Wing with/or without geographically separated units (GSU)/ ARNG Region located in a State that is divided into multiple regions (within the State) not servicing one specific BDE.
- →This position serves as the implementer of the Integrated Primary Prevention (IPP) Program.
- →Due to the specialty nature of these roles this position reports to the Joint Force Headquarter Primary Prevention Officer.
- →The primary purpose of this position is to implement and support integrated prevention programs.
- →It collaboratively identifies, implements, and assesses public health-informed and evidence-based prevention policy, practices, programs and processes.
- →Supports healthy climate/culture to eliminate harassment, sexual violence, family violence and self-directed harm using a public health perspective and socio-ecological theoretical lens.
- →This involves an integrated, multi-agency, and collaborative approach with other Wings/Regions, Joint Force Headquarters (JFHQ), and local programs with a nexus to integrated primary prevention (IPP) efforts.
