This National Guard position is for a PRIMARY PREVENTION SPECIALIST (PREV WF) - NG Accelerated Hiring Authority, Position Description Number T0029P0A and is part of the PA Joint Staff, National Guard. 2 or more positions may be hired against this announcement
What You'll Do
- →As a PRIMARY PREVENTION SPECIALIST (PREV WF), GS-0101-09/11, you will serve as the point of contact for harm and abuse prevention programs and activities; provide program coordination and serve as the subject matter expert for the Wing/Region IPP program.
- →Support inter- and intra-personal violence prevention efforts and programming through the Wing/Regional leadership advisory committees, boards and working groups.
- →Serve as the Wing/Region liaison for local military and civilian agencies to promote timely information exchange, coordinate collaborative prevention efforts, and establish resource links and community partnerships.
- →Responsible for developing and overseeing healthy climate, resiliency, risk reduction activities, trainings, and communication campaigns within the Wing/Region.
- →Recruit, train, and facilitate military volunteers for prevention activity implementation.
- →Perform other duties as assigned.
