About the Role
This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD Workforce to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. About the Position: You will perform law enforcement work to maintain law and order, preserve the peace, and protect life and civil rights within the jurisdiction of a military installation.
What You'll Do
- →You will perform law enforcement work to maintain law and order, preserve the peace, protect life and civil rights.
- →You will detect and investigate crimes, arrest or apprehend violators, and perform patrols within the jurisdiction of the military installation.
- →You will exercise search and arrest authority, apprehend suspects, interview witnesses and other persons involved.
- →You will conduct traffic law enforcement patrol using specialized equipment such as radar, Lidar and breathalyzer.
- →You will establish Incident Command at the onset of terrorist attack or other significant incident affecting public safety and the installation mission.
