About the Role
You will serve as a Police Officer in the Command Naval Installations Command (CNIC) of WEPSTA FALLBROOK SET DET. No PCS costs will be paid.
What You'll Do
- →You will perform a full range of duties and responsibilities in preventing terrorist activities, resolving offenses, etc.
- →You will mirandize suspects and testify in court as it pertains to enforcing regulations aboard Navy installations.
- →You will collect, protect and process evidence from crime scenes.
Requirements
- ✓SUBSTITUTION OF EDUCATION FOR EXPERIENCE (GS-05): Successfully completed a four-year course of study leading to a bachelor's degree in Police Science or comparable degree program related to the work of the position.
- ✓OR COMBINATION OF EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Possess a combination of experience and education as described above that equates to one year of experience.
- ✓The percentage of the required education plus the percentage of the required experience equal to one-hundred percent.
- ✓(NOTE ON SUBSTITUTION OF TRAINING FOR EXPERIENCE): Successful completion of a Federal, State, County or municipal police academy or comparable training course that included at least 40 classroom hours of instruction in police department procedures and methods, and local law and regulations, may be substituted for a maximum of 3 months specialized experience or 6 months of general experience.
