About the Role
You will serve as a POLICE OFFICER in the FORCE PROTECTION DIVISION of NAVAIR WPNSTA CHINA LAKE SECDT.
What You'll Do
- →You will perform anti-terrorism duties to deter, detect, or deny unauthorized access.
- →You will conduct preliminary investigations of critical incidents (e.g., traffic accidents, domestic violence, fights, assaults, child abuse or neglect).
- →You will perform lifesaving first aid in the event of an emergency as the first responder to an incident.
- →You will respond to and investigate complaints while enforcing state and federal laws and regulations.
Requirements
- ✓For the GS-05 only: The following education may be substituted for specialized experience: I have successfully completed a four-year course of study leading to a bachelor's degree in Police Science or a comparable degree program related to the work of the position.
- ✓OR I have a combination of experience and education as described above that equates to one year of experience.
- ✓The percentage of the required education plus my percentage of the required experience equals one hundred percent.
