About the Role
You will serve as a POLICE OFFICER in the OPERATRIONS DEPARTMENT of NAVBASE VENTURA COUNTY SEC.
What You'll Do
- →You will respond to and investigate complaints while enforcing state and federal laws and regulations.
- →You will conduct preliminary investigations in response to calls for assistance (e.g., alarms, complaints, irregularities, incidents, unusual or suspicious circumstances).
- →You will coordinate emergency response for calls concerning complaints or reports of violations.
- →You will perform law enforcement duties at fixed post entrance and exit gates to control vehicle and pedestrian traffic.
Requirements
- ✓OR Have a combination of experience and education as described above which, when combined, is equivalent to 100% of the qualification requirement.
- ✓For the GS-03: Successful completion of one year of study at an accredited school above the high school level with at least 6 semester hours of study pertinent to police work.
- ✓OR A combination of experience and education as described above that equates to one year of experience.
- ✓The percentage of the required education plus the percentage of the required experience equal one hundred percent.
