About the Role
This position is located in the Veterans Health Administration (VHA), at the Northern Arizona VA Health Care System (NA V ARCS) located in Prescott, AZ. This position is part of Maintenance and Operation Section of Facilities Management Service. The primary purpose of the Maintenance Supervisor is to perform journeyman Pipefitter and Plumber work.
What You'll Do
- →Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 08:00 am - 04:30 pm Position Description Title/PD#: Pipefitter/PD10378A Physical Requirements:Work requires good coordination and good physical condition.
- →The incumbent is required to walk, stand, stoop, bend, kneel, climb, crawl, and work in uncomfortable positions and to pull, reach over and lift supplies and/or equipment weighing up to 75 pounds.
- →The incumbent_must work from ladders, scaffolds, platforms and in hard to reach places.
Requirements
- ✓Citizenship; non-citizens may only be appointed when it is not possible to recruit qualified citizens in accordance with VA Policy.
