About the Position: This position is located at Brooke Army Medical Center, Fort Sam Houston, San Antonio Texas This is a Direct Hire Solicitation A recruitment or relocation incentive may be authorized. Salary negotiation may be available for those candidates who are new to Federal service. Non-Federal work experience may be creditable for leave purpose
What You'll Do
- →Participates in developing radiation safety policies and procedures for the organization.
- →Reviews, advises, and provides guidance on the full range of radiation safety matters related to the organization.
- →Advise on all physical, mechanical, electrical, computer, automation and radiation safety aspects.
- →Oversee and analyze quality control testing of radiation; detecting and measuring equipment.
- →Perform all required studies, testing and analysis of imagery acquisition and delivery systems are functioning at optimum level.
- →Investigate malfunctions and operational difficulties and formulate solutions and corrective actions.
