About the Position: This position is located at Naval Medical Center San Diego. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation Medical malpractice liability insurance is not required for federal civilian healthcare providers as they are covered by the Federal Tort Claims Act (28 U.S.C. § 1346(b)) while acting within the scope of their employment.
What You'll Do
- →Provide a full scope of diagnostic radiology services for the radiology services.
- →Provide consultation, reporting the radiologic diagnostics examination, delivering interpretation of the study and the diagnoses of x-ray to the clinician.
- →Recommend and direct the care and treatment of the patient.
- →Obtain consultation, provides referral, both within the department and with other medical elements.
- →Provide advice, professional opinions and written technical studies and professional review upon request by the Chief, Department of Radiology in support of the various boards and committees.
- →Provide training in the specialty of Diagnostic Radiology to other department physicians and medical students.
