What You'll Do
- →WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY As a Physician (Public Health), you will: Provide substantial input in the day-to-day technical and scientific planning, implementation, and analysis of the clinical aspects of scientific research studies conducted by other scientists.
- →Serve as scientific/clinical consultant for assigned grants, contracts, or cooperative agreements with State and local health departments, community-based organizations, and other governmental and non-governmental agencies and organizations.
- →Independently design, conduct, and analyze evaluation studies and surveillance projects to evaluate their reliability and validity in measuring the effectiveness of scientific public health programs and strategies.
- →Assign work to subordinates based on priorities, considering difficulty and requirements of assignments as well as the capabilities of employees.
