About the Position: This position is located within an outpatient orthopedic clinic at Blanchfield Army Community Hospital in Fort Campbell, Tennesse. A recruitment or relocation incentive may be authorized. Salary negotiation may be available for those candidates who are new to Federal service. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation
What You'll Do
- →Performs a variety of professional direct health care clinical duties related to orthopedic care.
- →Manages musculoskeletal conditions and provides follow-up care for injuries and nonoperative needs.
- →Performs basic procedures including splinting, casting, brace application, wound checks, and suture or staple removal.
- →Supports urgent evaluations and assists supervising clinicians with assessments and procedures during time-sensitive cases.
- →Assists in surgical care through preoperative assessment, intraoperative support, and postoperative management.
- →Documents care and educates patients on treatment plans, recovery expectations, and preventive practices.
