About the Role
About the Position: This position is located at Portsmouth Naval Medical Center under the Inpatient Pharmacy Department. Performing a variety of technical support functions in a pharmacy. This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service.
What You'll Do
- →Process medication orders.
- →Perform substantial bulk compounding, including complex products.
- →Prepare, store, and issue sterile and non-sterile drug preparations following established guidelines.
- →Perform technical functions with computer-based systems.
- →Assist Pharmacist in the drug utilization, quality assurance, and improvement activities.
- →Provide guidance or assists less experienced medical personnel.
