About the Role
About the Position: This position is located at Kenner Army Health Clinic. The duty hours are normal business hours, Monday through Friday. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation
What You'll Do
- →Receive, review, and enter prescriptions for a wide range of pharmaceuticals, including controlled substances.
- →Determine the correct substance, strength, dosage, and quantity to be dispensed in accordance with standard procedures.
- →Fill prescriptions, prepares package labels, and visually inspects the final product for accuracy.
- →Review patient profiles in the computer system to check for allergies, drug interactions, and duplicate orders.
- →Coordinate with prescriber and pharmacists to clarify any issues or problems with dosing, interactions, or instructions.
- →Provide patients with instructions on the proper use of their medications.
