About the Role
This position is eligible for the Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP), a student loan payment reimbursement program. You must meet specific eligibility requirements per VHA policy and submit your EDRP application within four months of appointment. Program Approval, award amount (up to $200,000) & eligibility period (one to five years) are determined by the VHA Education Loan Repayment Services program office after review of the EDRP application. Former EDRP participants ineligible to apply.
What You'll Do
- →VA Careers - Pharmacy: https://youtube.com/embed/Fn_ickNBEws Duties are but not limited to: To serve as a first line supervisor and Pharmacist in-Charge to provide leadership, direction, planning, and organization of the Care in the Community (CITC) Pharmacy program.
- →The incumbent develops goals and objectives that integrate organization and pharmacy objectives, emphasizing patient care, patient safety, and performance improvement.
- →This individual performs higher level duties consisting of significant scope, administrative independence, and complexity.
- →The CITC Pharmacy Supervisor will lead and/or assist with continuous education for CITC pharmacy staff and other areas within pharmacy service.
- →In addition, the pharmacy supervisor is responsible for maintaining reports (if applicable) in respective pharmacy areas and taking appropriate action for any deficiencies.
- →Thorough knowledge and understanding of various regulations including FDA, DEA, USP, NIOSH, OIG and the Joint Commission and VHA national and local handbooks and directives, policies and standard operating procedures pertaining to the practice of pharmacy and VA Community Care legislation is required.
- →Work Schedule: Monday- Friday 8am- 4:30pm, Tour may be adjusted or extended to meet patient care needs.

Requirements
