About the Position: This position is located at 1st Special Operations Medical Group - Hurlburt Field, Florida This is a Direct Hire Solicitation A recruitment or relocation incentive may be authorized. Salary negotiation may be available for those candidates who are new to Federal service. Student Loan repayment may be authorized. Non-Federal work experience may be creditable for leave purposes.
What You'll Do
- →Confirm proper dosing of each prescription.
- →Ensure staff are storing, handling and filling prescriptions in a safe manner, to include chemotherapeutic medications.
- →Provide instructions, advice and assistance to officials on effectiveness, suitability, hazards, appropriateness for the intended use, economic and aspects of use.
- →Dispense medications using appropriate techniques while following the health systems policies and procedures.
- →Provide medication information to patients.
- →Develop individual dosing regimens based upon pharmacokinetics of drugs employed, disease states and medication history of the patient.
- →Coordinate with the pharmacy to ensure optimal provision of medication therapy.
